Hi,

I am based in Toronto, Canada.  I became hooked on TOS during the early 70's watching it after school daily.  I was 16 when ST:TMP was released in theatres (you can do the math!) and read the novelization.The footnote t'hy'la changed my perception of Kirk and Spock forever. I had survived on pro-novels and reruns and the occassion movie (including reboots). It wasn't until my teenage daughter directed me to the K/S Archive that I realized there were thousands of fans who had seen their love. I've been happily reading on line fiction and purchasing any zines that my budget will allow ever since.  

P.S.  I am thankful for AOS reintroducing a whole new generation of fans to Star Trek, but I can't forgive JJ Abrahms for destroying Vulcan (and their Romulan cousins).  Thank goodness we have a new series about to launch which can start the whole Kirk/Spock magic all over again. I am hopeful it will also have a positive view of the future!
